That's not to say we haven't travelled in the 5 years since I last posted. We've actually been to Cuba (4 years ago) and had a great experience there. We also ALMOST went to Costa Rica but in a cruel April Fools joke that was cancelled on April 1st 2020 due to the pandemic.
Last year we did get to eastern Canada, specifically Nova Scotia and Newfoundland plus a little corner of France, though we didn't leave North America. How is that possible? Well, it's that little set of islands off the south coast of Newfoundland, St Pierre and Miquelon. That destination has been on my list since I first heard of them as a teenager.
I might throw in a post to recap that trip later but for now it's on to the next one. That begins in less than 2 weeks and includes Tokyo, Singapore and Malaysia over 3 weeks. More soon!
*Edit: I just added screenshots of the weather for Vancouver, Tokyo and Singapore. We are actually rivalling those cities! Except for the humidity of course but maybe this will help us acclimate. Wishful thinking.
Oh right, I have just been reminded that we also spent a week in Mexico in January of this year. The tequila must have wiped out my memory cells.
